Johnny Ray Williams of Grove, Oklahoma, joined his Heavenly Father Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was 68.

John was born August 9, 1954, in Grove, to the late Charles Cicero Williams and Louise Katherine Thompson Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Claude Williams, brother-in-law, David Ray Pattison, and niece, Lindsay Louise Williams.

He was a graduate of Grove High School. John worked for Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, retiring after 32 years of service. His friendships formed at REC remained true throughout his life. John loved his family dearly. His wife, Melody, was his light and purpose; he was devoted to caring for her. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. If John knew you, rest assured you were in his daily prayers.

Survivors include wife, Melody; son, Kevin Ray Williams, daughter, Kimberly Ward and her husband Andrew; grandchildren Dylan Ray Brown, Lydia Morgan Hopper, Justice Ward, and Augustus Ward; brother, Charles and his wife Janey; sister, Ada Pattison; and stepdaughter, Angela Kincaid, her husband William and her children Austen Rocha, and Ashton Kincaid; several nephews, nieces, extended family, his beloved Trinity Baptist Church family, and many friends.

Service will be held at are Worley-Luginbuel Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 10 am.
