Dan "Wolfe" Henry Whitney

Dan Henry “Wolfe” Whitney, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023, at the age of 71.  Wolfe was born in Oceanside, CA on July 4, 1951, to Lamar and Mildred (Jones) Whitney.  He worked for 50 years in the auto glass industry and was co-owner of Wolfmasters Auto Glass.  Wolfe enjoyed racing cars with his brother-in-law Pat Cox.  He also enjoyed doing puzzles and sunbathing.  Wolfe never met a stranger.  He loved all and was loved by all.

Survivors include his fiancé Carol Hankins, his siblings: Gary Whitney, Elvis Whitney, Ray Whitney, Linda Cox, Randy Whitney and wife Robin, and brother-in-law David Cox as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents Lamar and Mildred Whitney,  brother Don Whitney,  sister Brenda Villarreal, brother-in-law Pat Cox, and sister-in-law Susan Whitney.

The siblings would like to give a special thanks to Amanda (Whitney) Nichols for the phenomenal care she gave to Wolfe.  For her love and care they are forever grateful.    

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel.  The family will host memorial services at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
