Bobbie Owens

Bobbie Jean Owens, 59 of Afton, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021.  Bobbie was born in Tulare, CA on September 6, 1962 to Bobby Joe and Erma Mae (Butler) Johnson.  On June 15, 1989 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Ernest Owens.  Bobbie worked as a police officer in Tulsa and deputy sheriff for Torrance County, New Mexico.  More recently she was the accountant for Grand Lake Mental Health in Nowata.  Bobbie and Ernest loved to travel and traveled the world together.  They also enjoyed doing cowboy action shooting.  She was also and artist and recently got into painting, as well as enjoyed playing the guitar.  She was full of fun and life and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband Ernest of the home, sons: Robert and Jesse Owens, grandson James Owens, and brother John Ray Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
