Grove

Victoria Esta Cartwright, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 72 in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on March 8, 1953, in Loma Linda, California, Vickie was known for her deep love for her family and friends, always striving to bring joy to those around her.

Throughout her life, Vickie was a dedicated caregiver, embodying a spirit of compassion that resonated with everyone she encountered. 24 years in the oil and gas industry, then she operated a successful heating and air business, a testament to her professional pursuits.

Vickie was never one to sit still; her boundless energy was reflected in her various hobbies and interests. She embraced all things related to the lake, finding joy in fishing, boating, water skiing, and jet skiing. Her competitive spirit shone brightly as she played sand volleyball and participated in marathons. A lover of music, Vickie played her guitar, always had music playing and enjoyed the beauty of wildlife and the fleeting visits of hummingbirds.

Vickie 's passion for racing, especially motorcycles, traced back to her upbringing in a family deeply involved in the sport. This connection not only shaped her interests but also fostered a sense of community and shared experience among her loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Allen Beard and partner Gina Middaugh, and Shelly Maxey and husband Mike. Additionally, she cherished her role as a grandmother to three grandchildren: Lauren Asher (Scotty), Emily Beard, and Timber Maxey. The joy of her life continued with the arrival of her great-grandchild, Cameron Asher.

Vickie is preceded in death by her mother, Catherine J. Shipman-Daley, her brother, Eddie Daley, and sister, Cathy Jo Daley. Her legacy of love and strength will forever be a source of inspiration for her family and all who knew her.
