Thomas Edward Donley, Jr., 83, resident of Grove, OK passed away February 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. Thomas was born July 17, 1939, in North Bloomfield, Ohio to Thomas Edward and Lena (Dodd) Donley. Tom was raised on the family dairy farm and later moved into town where his parents owned and operated the local grocery store. He attended Ohio University and then Cleveland State University where he received his degree in Engineering. Tom worked at Reliance Electric, Weatherhead Corporation, and then Dana Corporation which brought him to Vinita, Oklahoma.
Tom married Kathie Donley on August 15, 2002. They made their home in Grove, OK. Tom enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing with his longtime friends on their yearly Vegas trips. He also loved boating and fishing on Grand Lake, gardening, maintaining an immaculate yard, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, his sisters Betty and Barb. He is survived by his wife Kathie of Grove, his sister Jean Hindershot of Austin, TX, his daughter Lissa Hadley and husband Joel of Phoenix, AZ, son John (Fitz) Aexel and wife Kara of Sandpoint, ID, daughter Samantha Lane and husband Matt of Grove, OK, daughter Renee McEntire and husband Tom of Antler, OK. Thirteen grandchildren; Tristan, Trevor, and Eliza Hadley, Kali and Luke Hammock, Stella Sue Lane, Joseph, Jacob Andrew, Elizabeth, and Rebekah Aexel, and Ami and T.J. Kern.
Services for Tom will be at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. Officiated by Father Valerian Gonsalves of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, OK.
