Terry Lee Fitzpatrick

Terry Lee (Dunn) Fitzpatrick, 83, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on March 8, 1942, in Bell, California, to William Terry (Bill) Dunn and Alma Blanche Beene Dunn. She was the sister of Anita Jean Dunn.

Terry married the love of her life, Russell E. (Gene) Fitzpatrick, on November 9, 1963. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Terry always made sure family members knew they were loved beyond measure. She taught us the values of care and kindness, and the importance of family. Terry had a passion for flowers, enjoyed watching old movies, liked cheering for the Oklahoma Thunder, and was fierce competition when it came to board games.

Terry was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband, Gene; daughter, Jenean, and her husband, James (Jamie); grandson, Jake, and his wife, Chelsea; grandson, Jared, and his wife, Ellise; and great-grandchildren, Kate, Anna, Crew, and Eva; and sister, Anita.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma, on July 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by graveside interment at Butler Cemetery, south of Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to Grove’s Church of the Shepherd Project 7 Ministry, which supports a clothing fund for children in need, or Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, care of Grove Rotary Club.
