Teressa Harvey

Teressa Lugenia Harvey 88 year old Shawnee, Kansas resident joined her husband and 3 children in heaven on Friday September 6th, 2019. Teressa was born November 09, 1930 to JT and Lois Collins. She married Norman L. Harvey on September 02, 1950 at Scott Air Force base in Illinois. After briefly serving alongside her husband in the Air Force, she was honorably discharged to be a full time mother and military wife while working as a secretary at the First Baptist Church of Vinita, Oklahoma. Lovingly known as “Memaw”, she enjoyed her final years spending time with her immediate family; granddaughter Brandi Freeman, granddaughter Trisha Hestand and husband DJ and her great granddaughters Alexis Albrecht, Kaitlan Ginther and grandson Brayden Hestand as well as the most recent light of her life; great, great granddaughter Hadley Rae Ginther.

Additional Survivors include Granddaughters Paula Hyslop and Crystal Harvey. Nieces Linda mulholland, Carol McCabe, Janet Collins, Dianna Eliasson and Debra Anderson and nephew John Lipscomb.

Teressa’s visitation will be Monday September 09, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Skip McClain officiating at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Oklahoma.
