Shirley Patricia MacDonald

Shirley Patricia "Pat" O'Daniel MacDonald, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at the Betty Anne Nursing Center, where she had resided in recent years.

Pat was born on August 3, 1946, in Renton, Washington, to Harry B. O'Daniel and Esther V. Albert O'Daniel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John MacDonald; her daughter, Margie Ruth; and her brother, Danny O'Daniel.

She is survived by her daughter, Dene Jones of Minnesota; her stepdaughter, Melanie MacDonald of Oklahoma; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Kay Johnson of Oviedo, Florida, and Don O'Daniel of Grove, Oklahoma.

Pat will be remembered as a strong, stubborn, and deeply passionate woman who never hesitated to speak her mind. She found joy in gardening, had a love for art, and cherished time spent socializing with others. Her presence was vibrant and unmistakable, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her.
