Rowland Higginbotham

Rowland Higginbotham, 77 of Grove, went to his heavenly home on May 17, 2023.  Rowland was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on December 21, 1945.  On April 22, 1983, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Diane Haibon.  Rowland was happiest when he had a project going; he loved keeping busy.  He worked various careers including a ASCP certified medical technologist, a farmer and dairy farmer, and as a team trucker with his wife for 15 years.  He enjoyed woodworking and doing remodels.  He was an active member of Cayuga Mission Church.

Survivors include his loving wife Diane, children: Kimberly Laughlin and husband Kendall, Jim Wallis and wife Christy, Crystal Lewis and husband Jerry, Kelly Conant and husband Tom, 5 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth Phillips and Robert and Phyllis Higginbotham, sons: Darin and Craig Higginbotham, grandson Dustin Harp, and siblings Larry Higginbotham, Bob Higginbotham, and Sharon Largent.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2023, at the Grove Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with a visitation to follow until 7 p.m.
