Randall Duane Martineau, 67, passed away on June 19, 2026, in Jay, Oklahoma. He was born on February 11, 1959, in Gravette, Arkansas, to Dwayne D. Martineau and Mary Ellen (McGhee) Martineau.
Randall served in the United States Navy for four years; afterwards, he worked as a railroad engineer and had a lifelong love of trains, especially old steam engines. He was fascinated by history and enjoyed searching for treasures from the past, whether hunting for arrowheads, searching for antique bottles, or metal detecting. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time outdoors. Randall often shared his favorite saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
He enjoyed playing golf video games and had a well-known sweet tooth, especially for sea salt caramel bars from the Dollar General store. He loved science fiction, especially Star Trek. Above all, Randall cherished the time he spent with his family and the memories they created together.
Randall will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of history and discovery, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. His memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwayne and Mary Ellen Martineau; his great-nephew, Hunter Martineau; his nephew-in-law, John Leon; his cousin, Julian "Cuz" Atkins; and his beloved dog, Earl Dean.
Randall is survived by his brothers, Bradley Martineau and wife Hope, and Mark Martineau; his sisters, Debra Schreiber and husband Joe, and Alisha Worley and husband Sean; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Martineau and wife Savannah, Heather Johnston and husband Austin, Brandon Martineau, Nicole Nolz and husband Zach, Aaron Martineau, Travis Martineau, Stephanie Martineau and significant other Lucas Stephens, Amanda Leon, Chelsea Foote and husband Joey, Taylor Schreiber and wife Briel, Falisha Shepherd and husband Jeff, and Kaleb Worley and wife Ashley. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
