Paul James Loveland passed away on August 13, 2021, at 3:45 am at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Paul enjoyed fishing, KC CHIEFS, hunting, golf, and weekend getaways with his soulmate/wife/best friend/partner in crime Crystal. Saying Paul had a passion for fishing is an understatement. His sweet mom, Kipper, taught him how to fish at a young age and for those of you who know of Paul’s fishing journeys knows that his mama taught him well. Winning and placing in numerous tournaments paved his way to finally achieving “Pro” status. His favorite tournaments were those that he fished with his son, Austin.
Paul always had a smile for everyone; his smile lit up the whole place. He was a jokester and loved pulling pranks. He was also a very generous and thoughtful man. Numerous times he’d catch the grocery bill for an elderly person that was in line behind him at the grocery store. Of course, he never shared those stories with us we had to read about it on the front page of the local newspaper. Paul was very humble and always gave more than he received. When he was blessed he always turned around and blessed others. Blessing others came natural for Paul, so it was only perfect when he personally receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Paul is also humbled by the many tears that all of us have shed for him, and he doesn’t want us to be sad. His motto was “it is what it is make the best of it and have fun”. He doesn’t want us to dwell on the sadness of losing him so we should celebrate how much better our lives were by knowing him. Honor Paul’s legacy daily by being kind, paying it forward, and doing random acts of kindness because this is how he lived his life every day.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Jo Loveland, his son Austin Loveland and wife Odessa, grandchildren Bentley James and Brielle Rose of Grove Oklahoma; his daughter Halee Walker and husband Dallas of Broken Arrow Oklahoma; his mother Kipper Loveland and stepfather Jack Bullard.
