Nathan Alan Gibbs, a devoted caretaker, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 26, 2026, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on April 30, 1985, in Tulsa, Nathan dedicated much of his life to the compassionate service of those living with disabilities, embodying kindness and empathy in his work.
Nathan was a man who cherished his hobbies, finding joy and relaxation in gaming, a pastime that provided him moments of light-heartedness and connection. He approached life with a gentle spirit and a generous heart, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Lonnie and Carol (Davidson) Gibbs. Nathan also leaves behind a large and devoted family including his siblings David McGuire, Jamie Kelling, Tim Newell, Tom Newell, Justin Gibbs, Lisa Gibbs, Katherine Gibbs, and Tracy Gibbs, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory. He is preceded in death by his brother Travis Gibbs.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Olympus Cemetery in Grove, OK.
Nathan Alan Gibbs’s life was marked by dedication to others, boundless compassion, and the quiet joy of shared moments. His legacy will remain entrenched in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him, forever remembered with respect and love.
