Michael Charles Gregory, born April 16, 1954, in Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Jay, Oklahoma with his wife and sister by his side.
Michael dedicated many years to his work as a maintenance technician at the Wonder Bread factory, where his expertise in machining, welding, electrical work, carpentry, and mechanics was well respected. Known for his sharp mind and quick wit, he had a remarkable knack for bargaining, a reflection of his engaging personality and resourcefulness.
A devoted Christian, Michael lived his faith daily, embodying the values of hard work, kindness, and service to others. He had a lifelong passion for tinkering and could often be found working on projects at home or lending a skilled hand to friends and family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Debra Siske-Gregory, and his children: Lisa Gregory-Phillips, Sonya Larimore, Christina Gregory, Heather Gregory-Haynes, Michael “Pete” Gregory, Bruce McLoud, Krishawn McLoud, and Yvonne Robinson. He was a proud father, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sisters, Lisa Slayton (Dawn) of Jay and two sisters residing in Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Gregory, his mother, Melba Slayton, and a sister, Debbie Gregory.
Michael will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, steadfast faith, and exceptional craftsmanship. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
