Karl William Buoy, a dedicated truck driver and beloved family man, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Born on June 23, 1969, in Seattle, Washington, Karl lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a deep love for his family and passions.
Karl’s career as a truck driver saw him traverse countless miles, embodying a steadfast commitment to his work and contributing quietly but significantly to the communities he served. Beyond his professional life, he found joy and solace in simple pleasures—fishing in tranquil waters, working on cars with a patient hand, and passionately supporting his beloved Seattle Seahawks, demonstrating a spirit that cherished both the outdoors and the camaraderie of sports.
He is survived by his father, Harold "Ron" Buoy, and Ron’s wife Patsy, who stood by Karl throughout his life's journey. His daughter, Amber Sharp, was a central figure in his life, bringing him immeasurable pride and joy. Karl’s siblings also remain part of his legacy: his sisters Kristina “Krissy” Buoy and his brother Keith Buoy, alongside Keith’s wife Christina, and his nieces—Kelly, Casey, Corey, Nicole, Raechel, and Amber—as well as his great nieces and nephews—Colby, Kaysen, Summer, Kaden, and Carlee and Conner.
Karl’s passing also brings sorrow as we remember those who preceded him: his mother, Barbara (Fox) Buoy, and his sister, Kerri Schieable. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who knew Karl and were touched by his presence.
Karl William Buoy’s life was one of quiet strength and enduring affection. His devotion to family, his work, and his interests painted a picture of a man who valued connection, loyalty, and the humble joys of everyday life. He will be remembered fondly by those who loved him and by all who crossed his path.
