John Crawley

John Stephen Crawley, 67 year old Jay resident, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021.  John was born in Tulsa on July 28, 1954 to Joe and Della Jewel Crawley.  He worked for the State of Wisconsin Administration and then for the Gordon Flesch Company.  He enjoyed hunting and going to the range for target practice, as well as photography, geology, watching old westerns, family history, and visiting the old family farm.  John also enjoyed football.  He played at Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and was the team manager.  He was an avid fan for the Green Bay Packers and OU Sooners.  On December 27, 2010 he was united in marriage to Sarah Cantrell.  Together they attended Southside Church of Christ in Jay.

Survivors include his wife Sarah of the home, children: Ashely Crawley, Josh Crawley, Sheri Maleki and husband Joseph, Jason Lee Davis and wife Keri, Jared Davis and wife Shaunda, and Justin Davis, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Crawley.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay.
