Joe Bocanegra

Joe Wesho Bocanegra, age 60 of Colcord, died Monday July 12, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The son of Joe and Violet Mae (Wesho) Bocanegra, was born on April 2, 1961, in Shawno, Wisconsin.  He worked building fence and maintained at the Safari Wild Animal Park in Gentry, Arkansas.  Joe enjoyed playing softball, visiting friends, and spending time in the woods.  Joe was a member of the Menominee Tribe in Wisconsin.

Surviving are: his companion Mae Wolfe, grandson Lex Wolfe and Randy Wolfe, granddaughter Leena Wolfe and Sis Wolfe, his daughter Joleen Marie Johnson, his son Jeremy William Bocanegra, and friend Michelle Johnson Kelly, his sister Deanna Escalaner, his brother Marlin James Bocanegra, 4 nephews and 5 nieces.

Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Friday July 16, 2021, in the Clouds Creek Church.  A visitation will be held at 11 AM prior to the services.  The burial will be in the Clouds Creek Cemetery afterwards.
