Jimmy Tagg, Jr., age 64, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was born December 23, 1956 in Claremore, OK to the late Jim Tagg and Rosie Lee Proctor Tagg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter; one brother, Marvin; two sisters, Johnny and Marlene; and two half-sisters, JoAnn and JoAnna.

Jimmy worked as a maintenance mechanic for Peterson Poultry.

He married Edna Dick March 7, 1981 at Round Springs Baptist Church, she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include, J.J. Tagg and wife, Rachelle, Winfield, KS; two daughters, Jamie Woods and husband, Chris, Owasso, OK, and Jamaika Tagg and Matthew Burnett, Siloam Springs, AR; three grandchildren that were the center of his world, Eli Tagg, Easton Tagg and Greyson Woods; father-in-law, Jerry Dick; four sisters, Lois, Rachel, Mary and Kelly; one half sister, Doris; five brothers-in-law, Jerry Allen, James, Clyde, Bobby and Rubin; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He loved spending his days on the water fishing and gigging, he would often give his catch to local neighbors. He was an avid OU and KC Chief's fan. He was a Mopar man who loved car shows and owning fast classic cars. He loved nature and would take walks looking for pecans, Huckleberries, strawberries, wild onions, and morels. He enjoyed frying fish for his father in law Jerry Dick. His greatest joy were his grandsons. He loved traveling to watch them play ball, teaching them to fish, making them laugh and being a role model who often took their Easter candy. He will be missed by many but forever in our hearts.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.

Cremation services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
