Janet Elaine Andoe, age 72, of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on May 12, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on June 8, 1953, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Jack Richard Allen and Dorothy Janette (Gist) Allen.
Elaine lived a life deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ. Her greatest joy came from serving the Lord and loving her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Delaware Baptist Church, where she dedicated more than 30 years to the Children’s Ministry. Elaine had a special calling for teaching children about God’s love through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, GLBA, and Falls Creek, where she faithfully served as a sponsor and mentor to countless young lives. She also assisted in the Youth Ministry and wherever else she felt called to serve. Elaine especially cherished the friendship and fellowship she shared with her Bible study ladies.
Elaine had a warm and vibrant personality and found happiness in life’s simple blessings. She treasured time spent with her family and created lasting memories with those she loved most.
Elaine earned her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, X-Ray Technician, and Phlebotomist for both Grove Hospital and Mease Medical Clinic, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and compassionate heart.
Elaine enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including Bible study, reading, playing cards, working puzzles, music, crafting, and fishing. She also loved collecting rocks and seashells.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Andoe; her children, Melissa Reimer and husband Brady, April Jones and husband Bill; her stepchildren, Tracey Gordon and husband Chris, Deana Luckinbill and husband Rodney, and Larry Andoe Jr. and wife Lisa; her siblings, Richard Allen and wife Renae, and Rhonda Stephenson and husband Mark; her grandchildren, Levi White and wife Katie, J.J. Hale, Caleb Jones and wife Bailey, Haley Kelley, Alisha Jones, and Lizzie Mustain and husband Dustin; numerous step-grandchildren; her great-grandchildren, Paisley White, Aria, Paisley Tune, Wrenlee, and Elaina; and numerous nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Timothy Allen.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Delaware Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Mose Ridge Cemetery in Topsy, Oklahoma.
Elaine will be remembered for her unwavering faith, servant’s heart, and the love she so freely gave to her family, church, extended family, and friends. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched and the family she loved so dearly.
