Howard Elder

Howard Lochiele Elder passed away October 28, 2019 in Vinita, Oklahoma. He was born March 17, 1955 in Vinita, the son of Howard Virgil and Mary Lou (Haff) Elder. Howard was raised in Vinita and moved to California. He was a lumberjack logging the redwood trees and worked as roughneck in the oilfields. He loved to fish and tell you about attending Woodstock. Howard moved back to Vinita in his late twenties where lived out the remainder of his life.

Howard is survived by his children, Howard Elder Jr. of Vinita, Cheri Lewis of Alluwe, Celestia Elder of Claremore; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family is planning a private service at a later date.
