Homer Hill

Homer Joe Hill, 83, passed away on February 8, 2022.  Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley A. Woodruff Hill and his sister, Toby Hill Johnson.  Born on October 24, 1938 in Fort Worth, Texas, he is preceded in death by his parents, Homer W. Hill and Frances E. Odom Hill.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from American Airlines after 45 years, Mr. Hill enjoyed traveling, serving as president of a local car club, being active with American Legion Ritual Team and spending time with his loving wife.

Mr. Hill is also survived by his children Cynthia Pruitt, Scott Hill (Charlotte) and Raymond Hill (Teresa); Grandchildren Anthony Pruitt (Mary), Allen Pruitt (Gabriele), Jamie Bowen (Jordan); and Great Grandchild, Clarke Pruitt.

Donations can be made by purchasing bricks to honor Mr. Hill. These will be placed near the entrance to the F-4 Memorial at Freedom Park in Grove.

Memorial Services for Mr. Hill will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Grove, Oklahoma.
