George Pickup

George Wesley Pickup, age 66, Jay, OK. passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021.

He was born February 22, 1955, in Rural Delaware County, OK. to the late Raymond Pickup and Virginia Peak Pickup. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Marilee Feeling, Teresa Feeling and Maudine Linn.

George worked most of his life as a local handyman.

Survivors include three daughters, Angie Garcia and husband, Jon, Tulsa, OK. Cheryl Pickup and Shawna Pickup both of Siloam Springs, AR; twelve grandchildren, Cory, Franki, Kaysie, Jackson, Madisyn, Jaycee, Ashlyne, Dylan, Taylar, Jada, Jaykel and Jaimyn; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Boonie Pickup, Miami, OK.  and Darrell Pickup, Kansas, OK; two sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Carrie Fisher, both of Colcord, OK.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillside Church Eucha, OK. Pastor Jess Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 14, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Eucha.
