Frieda Reed

Frieda Mary Reed, 78 year old Grove resident, passed away on November 20, 2022.  Frieda was born in Tulsa, OK on January 19, 1944, to John and Betty (Milam) Barksdale.  Frieda loved to travel.  She traveled throughout Europe several times.  She enjoyed living on the beach in Southern California most her life.

She retired in Grove near family and worked extensively on gardening around her home.  Most of all, she loved her little dog, C.J. They went everywhere together.

Her brother Steven and sister Christi will miss her comments on football and our daily lives.

Survivors include her brother Steven Barksdale of Grove, sister Christi Fagerstone and husband Denny of Forestburg, TX, nieces Amanda and Heather Barksdale, and nephew Seth Barksdale.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Court Barksdale.
