Elsa Maria Clarkson

Elsa Maria Clarkson of Grove, OK, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Born on July 20, 1946, in Buga Valle, Colombia, Elsa lived a life marked by devotion, love, and quiet strength. She embraced her role as a homemaker with dedication, creating a warm and nurturing environment for those she cherished.

Elsa had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She delighted in playing the piano, a passion that brought music and grace into her home. Her love for nature was evident in her tending to her plants with care and patience. She found solace and happiness in pleasant walks and often enjoyed listening to classic music, moments of peaceful reflection that enriched her days.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Glen Clarkson; her beloved daughter, Dawn Mayfield; and her treasured grandchildren, Brett and Brice Mayfield. Elsa also leaves behind her sister, Eliana Cabal Rivera, who shared in the bonds of family and friendship.
