Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918 - 256 - 5555 .........Ellen (Judson) Baker, 76 year old Afton resident, passed away July 14, 2016. Ellen was born January 11, 1940 in Vinta, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Claude Earl Ornder and Rosie (Dykes) Ornder. Ellen was raised in and attended school in Vinita. She worked at Autumn Nursing Center as well as Deward and Paulines. In Ellen's later years she enjoyed farming and selling her strawberries. Ellen is survived by her children Mike Berend of Afton, Ok., William Baker Jr., Chris Boswell and Timothy Berend, all of Vinita, Anthony Berend of Spokane, Washington, and Diana Berend of Tulsa, Ok. Ellen is preceeded in death by her mother & father, Husband William Baker, sisters Becky Huffman, Billie Rose Lay, Claudia Oliver, and brothers Jack and Steve Ornder.
