She served with pride for four years in Army Intelligence, a chapter of her life that remained a meaningful source of honor to her. She also dedicated herself to caring for others as a registered nurse, bringing compassion and professionalism to her work.

She was a woman who loved people, and her kindness and joyful spirit drew others naturally to her. Donna was always happy and laughing, and she left a lasting impression on those around her. Nothing meant more to Donna than her family. She loved bringing everyone together for a meal, creating moments of closeness and fellowship that will be remembered with gratitude and love. She also enjoyed planting flowers, working in the yard, traveling, and going to the casino. Along with all of these pleasures, she was known as a beautiful singer, sharing a gift that added joy to the lives of others.

Donna is survived by her son, Darin Stroud, and daughter-in-law, Denise Stroud. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tyler Stroud and wife Lacy, Tanner Stroud and Haley Melton, and Taesi Stroud, as well as her great-grandchildren, Parker and Tucker Stroud.
