Donald Walter Russell, 83, was born on March 22, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on April 6, 2026, in Afton, Oklahoma. A lifelong auto mechanic, Donald dedicated his career to his craft, earning the respect of many through his skill, hard work, and commitment. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Donald loved fishing the shores of Grand Lake, and the knowledge of its best fishing spots went with him.
Donald’s final moments were spent peacefully with his family by his side while under the compassionate care of Good Shepherd Hospice.
Private services will be held at a later date.
