A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Diana Louise Brunner passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. She was born on October 1, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas.
Diana cherished the places she called home. She spent most of her adult years raising her family in Tulsa before retiring to her lake property in Afton designing a family lake home brought to life by her brother Larkin, a chapter of her life filled with treasured memories, before a tragic car accident moving her close to her daughters in Broken Arrow, where she spent her final years.
Throughout her life, Diana had a deep love for her family and a passion for creativity. She pursued studies in art and theatre during college, interests that shaped both her career and personal pursuits. Diana found fulfillment working as a stage designer, where her artistic eye and caring nature shone brightly. Her creativity extended to the stage as she collaborated with several theater groups in Tulsa, lending her talents to prop design and helping bring numerous productions to life.
Above all else, Diana treasured her family, whom she considered the foundation of her life. She is survived by her brothers, Larkin Davis and Rick Speer; her daughters, DiRhonda Wilder and husband Seth Wilder, and Amber Brunner-Lee and husband Bill Lee; her four grandchildren, , Kimberly Brunner, Lorren Lee, Seth Lee and his partner Kelli Walker, Ronald Lee; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Isabella, Jackson, Khyreis, Khylon, and Ellie Jo.
One of Diana’s greatest hopes was that her family would always remain close. She was preceded in death by her father, Larkin Davis; her mother, Joanne Hannah Speer; her stepfather, David Speer; her beloved husband, Ronald Brunner; her sister, Phyllis Davis; and her stepbrother, Mike Speer.
Diana will be deeply missed. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her legacy of creativity, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to guide and inspire her loved ones in the days ahead.
