Delores Yovene Birkes passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on December 9, 1933, to John Logan and Luciel (Kariho) Logan.

Delores was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was truly the center of her life. She lived for those she loved and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casino. Delores will be remembered for her caring nature, her devotion to her family, and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Logan and Luciel (Kariho) Logan; and Brother, James Logan; and her sister, Joan Goins and her son, Jimmy Birkes.

Delores is survived by her son, John Birkes; daughter, Raylene Hackler and husband Monty; grandchildren, Lindsey Oaks, Kiamichi Saulter, Lyida Garrison and Jace, Kyla Bishope and husband Oren, and Ty Birkes; and great-grandchildren, Payzlee Oaks, Taylor Baggett, Brooke Green, Cristopher Saulter, Mason McCartney, Amara Martinez, and Ayane Martinez, and Nephews Jonny Goins, and David Goins.

A wake will be held at the Seneca-Cayuga Cultural Center beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, and continuing until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with details to be announced once arrangements have been finalized.
