Deanna Mersman

Deanna Rose Mersman (Stovall), age 68, of Seneca, MO was born Oct 9, 1952 to Roy Stovall & Geraldine (Bearskin) Stovall. She married Edward Gerald Mersman on Oct 24, 1972. She was a proud member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma. Deanna passed suddenly on July 25, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy James Stovall, her mother Geraldine (Bearskin) Stovall, 5 brothers Leroy Howard, Leslie (Mutt) Howard, Roy Lee Stovall, Tom Stovall, Jimbo Stovall, 3 sisters Susie Nuckols, Edie Bowers, and Trudy White.

Surviving members is her husband Jerry Mersman, son Ed Mersman, and daughter Angela Mersman of Seneca, Mo, son David Scott and his wife Misty, grandson David Scott Jr, granddaughter Shae Scott, great granddaughter Cameron Golden, great grandsons Kaiden & Dalton Scott, of Grove; 6 sisters Carol Hammons of Joplin, MO, Shine Carson of Tulsa, Laurie Heffleman of Grove, Georgeann Stovall, Neasey Garwood, and Donna Francis of Miami, and many more family and friends.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Seneca-Cayuga Cultural Center with Ceremonial Chief Charlie Diebold officiating. Deanna will be laid to rest in the Bassett Cemetery.  Honoring her life serving as casket bearers will be Stan Mersman, Dusty Mersman, Darius Donahue, Shawn Stovall, Jose Gonzalez and Paul Gonzalez.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
