David Taylor

December 31, 1942 — June 25, 2019

David Taylor, 76, was called to his eternal resting place on June 25, 2019. He entered this world on December 31, 1942 in Oglesby, OK, born to Jess and Lova May (Gougler) Taylor.

David was raised in the Oglesby area and graduated from Ramona High School. On March 13, 1996 he married the love of his life Gayla Marler in Harrison Arkansas. His lifelong passion was farming and ranching, a type of job that required you to be a jack of all trades.  He raised cattle, grew hay, welded, there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. David also drove a school bus for a while. He loved Gayla’s cooking he said “It reminded him of his Mom’s.”  Most of all, David loved his family.

David will be remembered for eating his desert first, having strong opinions and not being afraid to share them, and being a hard worker.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

David was proceeded in death by his parents Jess and Lova, his brothers Vernon Taylor, Bob Taylor, L.J. and Tammy Taylor; sisters Beaula Taylor, Opal Hutton and Emma Belle Pierce.
