Fairland

Darianne Marie Zarintash, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated member of her community, returned to her heavenly Father on October 21, 2025, in Fairland, Oklahoma. Born on March 1, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Darianne lived a life rich in faith, family, purpose, and contribution—leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know her.

Darianne’s life was marked by her role as, in her husband’s words, the “CEO of Grand Oaks Ranch.” She was a successful businesswoman and an accomplished horse breeder and trainer, reflecting her lifelong passion for horses and equestrian pursuits. She was also a gifted artist who shared the joy and creativity of drawing, watercolor, and oil painting with others, teaching for many years at the Brush and Palette in Grove, Oklahoma. In addition, Darianne served as office manager and bookkeeper for Grand Lake Primary Care, dedicating 20 years to running her daughter’s medical practice. A devoted philanthropist, she was deeply committed to her community, actively leading charitable efforts in both Tulsa and Grove. Her spirit of giving shone through in the countless hours she spent volunteering, donating, and uplifting those around her.

Darianne is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Kim Zarintash, with whom she shared a rich and devoted life for 60 years. She leaves behind her two daughters, Dr. Renee Russell and Dr. Jennifer Davidson, and her son-in-law, K.R. Davidson, who will carry forward her legacy. Her three cherished grandchildren—Elle Russell, Andrew Davidson, and Robby Davidson—were the joy of her heart. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jeanne Newman and Cathy Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret (Faust) Ward, and her brother, Ron Ward.

Darianne’s remarkable journey was defined by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

"Go forth in peace, for you have followed the good road. Go forth without fear; for He that created you has sanctified you, has always protected you, and loves you as a mother”

— St. Clare
