Claud Carder

Claud Junior Carder, 70 year old Colcord resident, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. Claud was born in Vinita, OK to Claud and Billie Carder on November 7, 1951.  His family later moved to the Jay area where he graduated from high school.  After high school, Claud proudly served in the Navy.  On August 13, 1974, he was united in marriage to Janice Edwards.  Claud enjoyed riding his horses, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include his daughter Shannon Stephens, grandsons: Weldon Stephens and Kyle King, brother Clyde Carder and wife Regina, sisters Ann Vanatta and husband Roy and Mickey Carmichael, brother-in-law Steven Edwards, and mother-in-law Louella Edwards.  He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Janice.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Jay, OK.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
