Chester Lee Sprueill

Chester Lee Sprueill, age 71, was born July 22, 1954, in Fort Ord, California, and passed away April 9, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri.

Chester worked in many jobs throughout the Grove area and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed. A true jack of all trades, he enjoyed tinkering and working on projects, always ready to solve problems. He especially cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Chester is survived by his son, James Dusty Sprueill; brothers, David Herschbach (Ginger) and Rufus R. Sprueill; sisters, Margaret West (Jane) and Sandra D. Duffield; along with many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Sprueill; his mother, Mary (Greer) Wright; and his son, Jesse Andrew Sprueill.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. at Butler Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.

Chester will be remembered for his kindness, helpful nature, and the love he shared with those around him.
