Cheryl Smith

October 11, 1950 — December 28, 2022


Cheryl Yvonne Smith, 72-year-old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on December 28, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  Cheryl was born on October 11, 1950, in Lyons, Kansas.  She was the loving daughter of William “Bill” Edgar and Loretta Jo (Bowman) Inlow.  She was united in marriage to Danny Smith.  She enjoyed crocheting, attending church, and a good cup of coffee. Cheryl was a loving mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother in-laws Paul Bryer and Perry Smith, and grandson Memphis Walker.  She is survived by her children; Justin Smith and wife Charity of Grove, OK, and Tamar Walker and husband Mike of Branson, MO, and her sister Willetta Bryer of Amarillo, TX, brother in-law Benny and his wife Noami Smith of Nickerson, KS.  Cheryl was blessed with eight grandchildren; Jacklyn Smith (Kyle), Jesse Smith (Melonie), Victoria Williams (Dan), Dalton Smith, Samantha Walker, Rhythm Walker, Symphony Walker, and Harmony Walker, two great-grandchildren; Kylo and Mercy Smith.  Cheryl was very excited about number three great grandchild on the way, Daniel Williams.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-8 Tuesday, January 3, 2023, funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.  Cheryl will be laid to rest in Olympus North Cemetery.
