Charles Edwin Bush

Charles Edwin Bush of Afton, Oklahoma, sadly left us on Friday, April 26, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Bush, and Ruby Matlock; his sister Diana Bush, his brothers Ronnie Bush and David Bush; the love of his life, wife Lonna Bush.

Charlie is survived by his son Lonnie Bush of Emporia, Kansas, daughter Charla Sergeant and husband Steve of Grove, Oklahoma, and daughter Angela Sadd and husband Jeff of Grove, Oklahoma, his grandsons Shuncy Grove and Logan Sadd, granddaughters Kayla Grove, Mady Sadd, Breanna Sadd and Angela Jensen.  Also, his great grandsons Bentley Brown and Leo Sadd, great granddaughter Raelynn Grove, numerous nieces, and nephews.  

Charlie’s strong patriotism was due to his many years of service in the Air Force, Navy and later his retirement from the US Army National Guard.  

Charlie was as good as they came.  He was always ready to lend a hand and give the shirt off-of his back to anyone and always up to something where it was scaring someone or giving a hug. He loved his family more than anything and valued all the time with them, especially his grand and greats. 

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2024, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
