Boyce Larelle Heflin of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 88, having lived a long and full life. He died peacefully of old age, surrounded by the love of those who knew him.

Born on June 13, 1938, in Russellville, Arkansas, Boyce was the son of Hugh Heflin and Alma Finchum Heflin. He served his country honorably in the National Guard for 7 years, a chapter of his life that reflected his steady and dependable nature. He shared many happy years with his beloved wife of 54 years, Lillian, whose companionship was one of the great joys of his life.

Boyce was, above all, a kind man. Those who knew him remember his easygoing spirit and his thankful heart. He loved to travel and had a particular passion for RVing, always ready for the open road and the adventures it offered. For thirty years, he was a devoted member of the First Assembly of God Church of Grove, where his faith remained a guiding light throughout his life.

Boyce was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Heflin; his mother, Alma Finchum Heflin; his brother George “Leroy” Heflin and his cherished wife, Lillian Heflin. He is survived by his nephews, Russell Heflin and Wesley Heflin; two cousins; and his many dear friends in Grove, Oklahoma.
