Those who had the privilege of knowing Blayton were familiar with his remarkable talents and interests. Graduating from Grove High School in 2021, he excelled in track and field and had a penchant for video games and motorcycles. A true island kid at heart, Blayton would be seen around the island always joking, pulling pranks, living his best life with his friends. Putting a smile on the face of all that saw him pass.

His mechanical prowess was unmatched; there was no challenge too daunting for him when it came to fixing things. From cars, refrigerators, stereos, and boats. You name it and a couple YouTube videos later, and Blayton would have you fixed up. He approached every task with precision and skill. Music held a special place in his heart, he had a very diverse list of favorite artists.

Professionally, Blayton thrived as a superintendent at Asher Construction in Texas, showcasing his dedication and proficiency in the field. His work ethic and commitment inspired all those around him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Nancy Seabourn and Cecil Bedford, his paternal grandparents.
