Beverly Ann Jackson Moss Grove, OK, former resident of Miami, OK – Beverly Ann Jackson Moss, a woman who truly lived life to the fullest, passed away on July 28, 2025, leaving behind a rich legacy of love, achievement, and an infectious appreciation for every moment.
Born on September 10, 1933, in Lexington, Missouri, Beverly was the beloved daughter of the late Harvey Wales Hulver and Mildred Barron. A trailblazer in her field, she earned a Bachelor's degree from Hoover College before making history at Kansas City Business College, where she achieved the distinction of earning the very first Court Reporting Degree offered by the school. Her exceptional skills led to a fulfilling career as a court reporter in Kansas City, MO.
Beverly embraced life with an impressive array of hobbies and interests. A formidable presence on the golf course, she was a Club Champion an astonishing 15 times at Shangri-la, and multiple times at Miami Golf & Country Club, The Coves at Bird Island, and Bonita Bay Club. Her talents extended to the bowling alley, where she was a very good bowler, and to the artistic realm as a skilled China painter. Beverly also enjoyed countless hours playing card games, dominoes, and ping pong. A true sports enthusiast, she found joy in watching all types of sporting events.
Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayman Jackson, and her second husband, Dexter Moss. She also mourned the loss of her brother, Harvey "Bud" Hulver; her sister, Mildred Burns; and her cherished grandchildren, Kedra Greer and Kimberly Greer. Beverly Ann Jackson Moss is survived by her devoted companion, Doug Turley. She leaves behind her 3 children: Sandy (Charlie) Greer of Afton, OK; Debbie (Joe) Creel of Flora, MS; and Bill (Mendy) Jackson of Miami, OK. She was a loving Grandmother to her grandchildren: Seth Greer, Angela Hulsey, Joseph Creel III, Caleb Creel, Billy Jackson, Kat Gray, and Lindsay Jackson. Beverly was also a proud great-grandmother to 9, and a great-great-grandmother to 1. She is further survived by her brother, Wallace (Billie) Hulver, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her vibrant spirit. Pallbearers will be Tierra Hulsey, Antwon Fine, Dreamer Namelo, Kayson Hulsey, Alexandra Oropeza, and Ella Barton.
