Barbara June Brady, age 98, a cherished member of the community, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on November 10, 1926, in Electra, Texas, Barbara lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and friends.
A proud Christian, Barbara was a devoted member of the First Christian Church, where she found joy and fellowship in her women’s Bible study group. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life—shaping her values, guiding her actions, and inspiring everyone who knew her.
Barbara had a successful career as a real estate broker. She was known for her honesty, integrity, and her deep commitment to her clients. Her warmth and genuine care helped guide many through important life transitions. Education was also important to her—earning her associate degree reflected her belief in lifelong learning and personal growth.
She gave generously of her time, serving her community as a Cherry Red volunteer at Integris Grove Hospital. In her free time, Barbara enjoyed fishing, sailing, and traveling—always seeking beauty in the world and joy in simple pleasures.
Above all, Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved sons: Robert Brady, Chris Brady and his wife Maggie, Bret Brady, and Bart Brady. She deeply treasured her role as "Grandma" to her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories across generations.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brady, and her parents, Henry and Rose Carter.
A graveside service to honor her life will be held on June 23, 2025, at Olympus Cemetery in Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
Barbara June Brady will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her grace, generosity, and faith will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
