Angie Magdaline Ingham, born July 14, 1942, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. She lived a life filled with love, responsibility, and countless cherished memories.
As the oldest of eight children, Angie embraced responsibility early, helping to raise her younger brothers and sisters while growing up on the family farm. Those young years—marked by long and hot days of picking cotton, which was often the only way families could earn enough to get by—instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the value of family and community.
For many years, Angie worked in the cafeteria of Enid State School, where she nourished not only young bodies but also spirits, greeting every child with kindness. For many years, Angie owned and operated a house-cleaning service in Catoosa. In her leisure time, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, tending to her flowers, dancing, and playing golf.
Angie is survived by her three beloved sons: Randy McAbee and partner Tracy Broomfield, Ron McAbee and his wife DeAnne, and T.J. Ingham and wife DeAnne, her brother Homer Garrison, five sisters; Virgie Deaver, Francis Holmes, Judy Snodgrass, Patsy Robbins and Lisa Hartwell. She was blessed with eight grandchildren; Randy McAbee, Rusty McAbee, Kajesa McAbee-Tucker, Zoe Ingham, Zach Ingham, Allison Crafton, Lindsey Jarvis, Timothy Broomfield, and eleven great grandchildren; Ryan McAbee, Jase McAbee, Caleb McAbee, Riley McAbee, Rogan McAbee, Rayne McAbee, Brydyn Best, Jalen Smothermon, Kya Tucker, Annabel Crafton and Margo Crafton, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. They honor and carry forward her legacy of love and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Lillie Louise (Buster) Garrison and her brother Harlan Garrison.
Angie’s life was defined by the bonds she built, the lessons she shared, and the love she gave. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a lasting reminder of the strength of family ties and the importance of those we hold close.
Memorial services will be held at 3 PM, Friday, September 19, 20525 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
