Robert Dee Martin Jr. went to his eternal glory on October 30, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born to Robert Dee Martin Sr. and Shirley K Maples (Harp) on October 11, 1959, in North Kansas City, Missouri. Robert met and fell in love with Louise Gail Crawford, they married on June 3, 1978, and had two sons, Robert Dee Martin III, and Christopher Michael Martin.

Robert was a hardworking family man, and he always tried to find a way to bring them together, especially around the different holidays which were his favorite times during the year. He loved to be around people and could make friends easily. During his spare time Robert loved to look around at garage sales or get a good deal at auctions. He loved lending a helping hand to everyone in need ranging from simpler tasks, like fixing a bicycle wheel to large tedious projects like renovating and building houses. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and going to the casino. Robert loved to tinker with automobiles, and fixing things around the house.  He was considered an "All around Handyman, he loved a challenge and was eager to learn new things. Robert will be greatly missed by his family, and his beloved dogs Max and Chico.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Robert Dee Martin Sr. and Shirley K Maples, and stepfather James E Maples.

Robert is survived by his wife Gail Martin, sons Robert Dee Martin III , and  Christopher Michael Martin and wife Melissa Grace, 4 grandsons- Brendon A Martin, Robert D Martin IV, Ryan M Martin, Andrew S Martin, 2 granddaughters- Cailey M Martin, Savannah G Martin and 1 great granddaughter- Lailyn K Martin, 4 brothers- Mike Martin, David Treat, Clint Stumph, and Ronnie Maples and 7 sisters- Denise Murphy, Julie Dixon, Tammy Motley, Robin Marrant, Christine Lanio, Brenda Fudge, and Venus Hylton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, November 4, 2022, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Sam Smith officiating.  Robert will be laid to rest in Olympus North Cemetery.
