Cynda Hampton

Cynda Joye Hampton (Foster) was taken home to be with her Lord on November 10, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to John R. Foster Sr. and Jennie Foster (Reagin) on September 9, 1947 in Columbia, South Carolina. Cynda met Ronald and they were married  (50 years) on June 27, 1972  and together they had four children; a son Wade Hardin, and daughters Stephanie, Jennie, and Kathleen (Katie).

Cynda earned her love of travel as a young army brat moving from post to post with her father, a honored WWII veteran.  They landed in Lawton Oklahoma  where she met her husband. Cynda loved to travel, one of her favorite spots to visit were to beaches in the Caribbean and Mexico with her family. She enjoyed riding Harley Davison motorcycles with her husband and going  Dancing in Stella Missouri on Friday nights . Cynda enjoyed planting and caring for flowers, could play Mahjong, Dominos and Candy Crush for hours, but always made sure to take care of her family first. She had a special talent in making bows for Christmas and birthday gifts for both her children and grandchildren. Many of you knew her during her time here in Grove as the office manager for more than 10 years at Dr Bechtols office. She was the cornerstone of her family and will be greatly missed.

Cynda was preceded in death by her parents John R. Foster Sr. and Jennie Foster and her brother John Foster Jr.

Cynda is survived by her husband Ronald Hampton, son Wade Hardin Hampton, daughters Stephanie Lynne Bechtol and her husband Zack, Jennie Busto and her husband Tomas, and Kathleen Young and her husband Garry. Grandchildren Britton Bechtol, Braleigh Free; Ariana, Brielle, and Matteo Busto; Winston, Mitchell, Justin, Kevin, Lauren, Parker, Roland, Braydyn, and Elizabeth Young.

The family will have a Time of Remembrance on Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm.
